ETHNO-TOURIST COMPLEX "KARATEREN"


On October 16, 2024, the grand opening of the new ethno-touristic complex "Karateren" took place, located in the picturesque Borshi Tau area near the village of Daucara in the Taktakupir district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

For the guests of the "Karateren" tourist complex, a yurt town and camping houses, an amphitheater, and a children's playground are arranged.

272 steps of reinforced concrete stairs lead up the slope of Borshi Tau hill to the observation deck, which offers a wonderful view of the  beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The tourist complex invites guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the local culture, learn about its features and traditions, enjoy music and dance, try exquisite national dishes and drinks, and participate in various events that help to better understand the local heritage of this amazing region.

The area is ideal for ecotourism enthusiasts who seek to fully immerse themselves in unity with nature and enjoy its unique beauty. Here, there is a wonderful view of Lake Karateren surrounded by picturesque hills. The purest air and absolute silence provide a feeling of tranquility and harmony, relieving the tension of city life.

The two-day event, held under the motto "Only united - we are one people, only together - we are a strong country!" was attended by representatives of the general public and the mass media, representatives of culture and art, as well as guests from foreign countries. The main heroes of the celebration were young people who came from all corners of Uzbekistan.

The tourist complex "Karateren" symbolizes friendship and national unity among peoples. Uzbeks, Karakalpaks, Kazakhs, Turkmens, Tajiks, Russians, Tatars, Koreans, and representatives of other nationalities live on the land of Uzbekistan under the peaceful sky as one family.

As part of the opening of the tourist complex, a youth festival was held near the yurts. The festive program included theatrical compositions reflecting the national customs and traditions of representatives of different ethnic groups, a display of national costumes, and a fair of agricultural products.

In the plein air in the vicinity of the "Karateren" tourist area, artists created beautiful sketches of local landscapes.

Their paintings were filled with bright colors and reflected the unique features of the nature of this area.

The exchange of ideas and experiences was an important part of the plein air program, and all participants enthusiastically shared their creative endeavors.

In the amphitheater, a show of costumes of representatives of different nationalities “Fashion night” and an exciting concert program were presented.

Musical compositions of various styles sounded on the stage - from folk melodies to modern hits. The festival participants delighted the audience with beautiful vocal performances, energetic dances, and bright choreographic performances.

The evening concert program concluded with an impressive fireworks display.

The magnificent "Karateren" complex, located amidst picturesque natural landscapes, left no one indifferent. The festival emphasized the cultural diversity and unity of the peoples, bringing together young people from different ethnic groups. It was an excellent proof that the country has strong and talented youth, capable of creating wonderful and significant events with an understanding of the importance of preserving the cultural traditions of our peoples.
