International gastronomic festival "99 types of dishes from the Aral sea"
Since long, Muynak is different from other regions of Karakalpakstan with its traditions, culture and unique cuisine, in most, which includes fish dishes. In the past Muynak was famous for its different types of dishes prepared from fish of the Aral Sea. The recipe for many unique dishes could only be found in this small fishing town.
