The National PR Center announces a competition among tourism companies to participate in a joint project with the Tourism Bureau of the Republic of Azerbaijan

This project, set to commence on July 21, 2025, aims to foster strategic cooperation in developing a unified tourist route that highlights the historical and cultural heritage of both countries. The primary objective is to identify and promote key historical sites along the Silk Road, such as Baku, Shemakha, Sheki, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand, by creating a joint tourist route targeted toward the Central European market. The tourist resources of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will be consolidated into a single offering titled "Joint Silk Road Highlights Tour" for further joint promotion in Europe.

Two webinars will be organized for tour operators from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, where industry representatives can familiarize themselves with the project and tourism products from each participating country:

  •  August 28 — Webinar dedicated to Azerbaijan, for tour operators from Uzbekistan
  • September 5 — Webinar dedicated to Uzbekistan, for tour operators from Azerbaijan

Additionally, a roadshow is planned for October this year (dates to be confirmed) in cities such as Frankfurt (Germany), Vienna (Austria), Zurich (Switzerland), Budapest (Hungary), Prague (Czech Republic), and Barcelona (Spain).

We invite interested tourism companies and organizations to participate in these events. For further information, please contact us at (+998 78) 129-09-90 or via email at foreignprojects@nationalprcentre.com.
