Expansion of domestic flights in Uzbekistan will open up new opportunities for tourism

As part of improving transport accessibility within the country, the number of domestic regular flights will increase in Uzbekistan from the end of June, which will contribute to the implementation of the instructions of the head of our country to intensify domestic tourism.

New routes will reduce travel time between key historical and tourist centers, as well as improve the connectivity of regions. In particular, the airline "Centrum Air" will launch flights on the Samarkand-Urgench route three times a week from June 24. From June 25, flights will begin to be operated on the Bukhara-Urgench, Samarkand-Bukhara and Bukhara-Tashkent routes twice a week. Flights are already carried out on the Tashkent-Urgench route daily (except Tuesday). Expansion of domestic flights will create more convenient conditions for tourists and travelers, simplify access to important historical and cultural centers. Improving transport infrastructure promotes the development of domestic tourism, stimulates the economies of regions and supports their integration into the national tourist flow.
