The brightest and largest event in the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region – the Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road" – has been held since 1995. Every year, professionals from the tourism business gather here from all corners of the globe.

Over the past three decades, the Tashkent International Tourism Fair, known by the abbreviation TITF, has established itself as a central meeting point for representatives of the global tourism industry. The event is held annually with the official support of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, which recognizes its significance as an important catalyst for the development of regional and international tourism. Today, the influence of the fair extends far beyond Central Asia, serving as a key platform for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the promotion of tourist destinations.

From November 27 to 29, 2025, the grand opening of the 30th International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road" took place at the "CaEx" (Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan) exhibition center in Tashkent. The fair was organized by the Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Institution "National PR Center," and the State Unitary Enterprise "Interforum," with the support of Uzbekistan Airways as the general partner.

Over the three days at the fair, more than a hundred domestic and international representatives from the tourism sector showcased their achievements under 44 stands. Guests of this large-scale international tourism event were presented with presentations of attractions and new tourist routes in the regions of Uzbekistan.

The "Hosted Buyers" program featured participation from 10 foreign and over 30 local tourism companies. Throughout the fair, numerous negotiations took place, resulting in the signing of agreements that will facilitate further development of the tourism sector both within Uzbekistan and beyond its borders.
