From February 25 to 27 of this year, the "SATTE-2026" (South Asia's Travel & Tourism Exchange) tourism exhibition of South Asian countries is being held in the capital of India - the city of Delhi, in the "Yashobhoomi Expo Center" exhibition complex, where Uzbekistan is represented by a national stand.
For reference: this exhibition, which brought together more than 2,000 stands from more than 50 countries and attracted more than 40,000 participants from around the world, is recognized as one of the largest events in the travel industry.

At this international exhibition, which Uzbekistan has been participating in annually since 2023, 10 tourism companies of the country and "Uzbekistan Airways" JSC are holding their presentations at the national stand organized by the Tourism Committee. The stand showcases our country's attractive tourist destinations, notable cultural sites, new infrastructure facilities, and special offers for Indian tourists.
During the exhibition, foreign participants and visitors are provided with detailed information about Uzbekistan's tourism potential, its rich cultural and historical heritage.
In order to actively promote the country not only in India, but also in the countries of Southeast Asia, it is planned to participate in conferences and seminars, hold negotiations with representatives of tourism companies, as well as organize meetings in the B2B format.
Furthermore, on the first day of the event, delegation members held meetings with representatives of several Indian tourism companies and organizations, including "Air India (Airlines)," "NIMA Association," and "UTEN Association." During the negotiations, issues of expanding cooperation in the field of tourism between Uzbekistan and India, developing direct flights, developing joint tourist packages, as well as implementing marketing and promotional projects to attract Indian tourists to Uzbekistan were discussed.
The parties also exchanged views on promoting the potential of the country's historical cities and the prospects for organizing major international and ceremonial events.
Participation in this event will further strengthen tourism ties between India and Uzbekistan.
