A Reminder for our citizens planning to travel abroad!

During the summer season, it is common to see many of our citizens traveling to foreign countries.

Throughout the season, it often happens that some tour operators and travel agents offer contracts that go against the interests of tourists or provide services without issuing a proper travel agreement for trips abroad.

The Tourism Committee offers the following recommendations to our citizens planning to travel abroad using the services of tour operators and travel agents:

- Independently verify the license of the tour operator or travel agent by their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) via the program at https://license.gov.uz;

- Request a contract before making any payment for the provided services (tour);

- Carefully review all terms and conditions of the agreement;

- Pay attention to a clear listing of obligations regarding the provision of all tourist services specified in the agreement;

- Familiarize yourself with the terms of refund and the amount of penalties in case of trip (tour) cancellation by the tourist, whether for known or unknown reasons;

- Do not make cash payments—pay according to the agreement via bank or bank cards and request a receipt;

- Request a tourist voucher specifying the services included in the travel package (tour);

- Request insurance from the tour operator or travel agent as per licensing requirements, as well as travel insurance for the duration of the trip;

- Ask the tour operator or travel agent for information about entry, exit, and stay regulations in the destination countries.
