“NavrUz” Ethnofestival
Initially, Muynak is different from other regions of Karakalpakstan with its traditions, culture, cuisine and peculiar life style, which was once closely associated with the Aral sea. Nowadays, the sea has gone away but the traditions and culture remain. “NavrUz” Ethnofestival is the same event that maximally displays authenticity of Muynak. The event program includes exhibitions and master classes of local handicraftsmen, national games and traditional cuisine, mass festivity and folk chants.
