The creative team of the South Korean publishing house “Roundabout” in Karakalpakstan!
The Tourism Committee organized a visit of the creative team of the “Roundabout” publishing house to the Republic of Karakalpakstan with the aim of widely promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.
In order to attract tourists to the Aral Sea region, the creative team got acquainted with the tourist site “Ship Cemetery”, located in the middle of the exposed seabed of the Aral Sea. At the highest point of Muynak, a memorial obelisk was erected, which is symbolically dedicated to the Aral Sea, and it is here that an observation deck was formed from which one can assess the true scale of the Aral tragedy.
Representatives of the South Korean media also got acquainted with the exhibition of the “History of the Aral Sea” museum located here.
