Over 7.3 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan in 11 months

Over 7.3 million foreign citizens visited the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January- November of this year.

Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 1.15 million people, or 18.8%.

The main part of the tourist flow came from the citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan — 2.1 million people each. Next come Kazakhstan and Russia - 1.4 million and 741.2 thousand, respectively.

Additionally, the top 10 included Turkmenistan (171,2 thousand), Turkey (108 thousand), China (66,6 thousand), India (63,4 thousand), South Korea (39,1 thousand), Afghanistan (38,000), and other countries (428,8 thousand).
